Shipping

Armstrong Fine Art LLC offers in-house shipping exclusively. For purchasers who wish to pick up in Chicago, or clients known to us, exceptions may be made at our discretion.
For works of art on paper with sheet or mat sizes up to 16 x 20 inches, a flat rate of 45 USD will be charged for shipping "ground" in the continental United States. For items up to 30 x 40 inches, the rate will be 65 USD. Some of these might be shipped rolled in a tube. We try to ship flat whenever we can. For all other items, such as paintings or framed items, a packing and shipping quote will be listed in the buyer's invoice.
For international destinations, usually add 25 and 50 US dollars to the amounts stated above.
Kindly please do not haggle with us over packing and shipping prices. These hardly cover our cost of packing supplies, labor, and shipping. By shipping in-house, we control the packing quality, and ship more quickly and less expensively than third-party shippers.
Your purchase is insured in transit against damage. Please note that we are not responsible for packages stolen once delivered. If you wish to have us request a signature upon delivery, let us know by email as soon as you have paid your invoice.

This auction starts with a selection of original contemporary representational prints by European and American artists (mezzotints, etchings, lithographs...). We follow with a fine selection of European and British prints and drawings, including rarities by James Tissot, Henri Riviere, and Odilon Redon. The American print selection that follows, offers rarities and fine impressions by Wanda Gag, John Marin, John Sloan, and James McNeill Whistler. It also includes some drawings, paintings, and photographs. We close our auction with a small but attractive selection of reasonably priced Chicago-themed prints.
