Shipping

Armstrong Fine Art LLC offers in-house shipping exclusively. For purchasers who wish to pick up in Chicago, or clients known to us, exceptions may be made at our discretion.
For works of art on paper with sheet or mat sizes up to 16 x 20 inches, a flat rate of 50 USD will be charged for shipping "ground" in the continental United States. For items up to 30 x 40 inches, the rate will be 75 USD. Larger works on paper are likely to be shipped rolled in a tube. We try to ship flat whenever we can. For all other items, such as paintings or framed items, a packing and shipping quote will be listed in the buyer's invoice.
For international destinations, add 30 and 50 US dollars to the amounts stated above.
KINDLY PLEASE DO NOT HAGGLE WITH US over packing and shipping prices. This charge hardly covers our cost of packing supplies, labor, insurance, and shipping. By shipping in-house, we control the packing quality, ship more quickly, and less expensively than third-party shippers.
Your purchase is insured in transit against damage. Please note that we are not responsible for packages stolen once delivered. If you wish to have us request a signature upon delivery, let us know by email as soon as you have paid your invoice.
We take pride in packing with the utmost care, making sure your purchase reaches you safely and quickly. We are usually able to ship within 4 to 5 business days of your payment, sometimes faster. If you have any special instructions about shipping or delivery, please contact us as soon as you have paid your invoice, so we may serve you better.

Armstrong Fine Art LLC takes you on a 100-year journey from Berlin to Berkeley. Our fifth auction starts with a strong selection of German Expressionists, fine European prints by Edvard Munch and Wassily Kandinsky, and lots by American Modernist Jan Matulka. This section is rounded out with School of Paris prints and a rare Impressionist drawing by Paul Signac. We stay in Paris for a brief selection of Atelier 17 prints before moving on to American prints from the 1960s and beyond. The lion's share of our auction is devoted to prints published by the renowned Paulson Bott Press in Berkeley with printer's proofs from the Renee Bott collection. Our sale will feature fine impressions by McArthur Binion, Alicia McCarthy, Tauba Auerbach, Kota Ezawa, Caio Fonseca, and many more great printmakers of the past three decades. We will also present a selection of artist proofs from the 1980s published by Crown Point Press in San Francisco, with prints by Francesco Clemente, Judy Pfaff, and Sherrie Levine.
