Our 8th auction presents fine art prints published mainly in Berkeley, New York, Tokyo, and Paris. These were printed by some of the most artistically skilled printers from the 1960 to today: such as Renee Bott, Betty Winkler, and Fernand Mourlot. Many works were also printed by artists who took pride in creating works on paper on their own, or in collaboration with master printers whose deep understanding of technique they could learn from. Sheet after sheet in this auction tells a story of excellence and artistry in printmaking after WW II. We present magnificent examples of intaglio, lithography, sceenprinting, woodblock printing, as well as many mixed media, which render on paper each creator’s artistic vision.
